Ronnie Lee Cunningham hails from Youngstown, Ohio. As a young musician, he recorded his first 45 RPM record at the age of 14! For some time he headed a group carrying his own name (The Ronnie Lee Thing), before eventually joining Brainchild in late 1969. Following Brainchild, Ronnie Lee later joined another influential, Youngstown-born group called LAW that toured and opened for numerous bands, recorded three albums, and eventually signed with the WHO as their opening act!
Ronnie Lee, a member of the Musicians Union since 1965, has shared the stage with many major acts. Including The Who, Yes, Earth Wind & Fire, Santana, Bad Company, Tower of Power, Bob Seeger and the Silver Bullet Band, Stevie Wonder, Ivan Neville, Al Jarreau and Dewey Terry - to name a few! He's been around the globe as a singer, songwriter, keyboardist, bassist, producer, arranger, and featured performer working with some of the oldest and most respected names in R & B as well as the superstars of rock n' roll.
Ronnie shares songwriting and touring credits with comedian, MICHAEL WINSLOW (star of all POLICE ACADEMY movies) and performs with Michael at major venues and Comedy Festivals throughout the world.
